Lithographix becomes
FSC Certified (SCS-COC-00949)

Lithographix recently applied for and was accredited with certification as an FSC supplier. FSC (Forest Stewardship Council), is an independent, nonprofit, non-governmental organization founded in 1993, whose sole objective is to oversee and promote environmentally responsible, socially beneficial and economically viable forest management world-wide. The FSC certification by a commercial printer provides consumers with a certified assurance that the paper and processes used comes from forests managed in an environmentally and socially responsible manner.

Lithographix is proud to announce the appointment of Jeff Young as Executive Vice President Sales and Layne Morey as Sales Manager Los Angeles.

Jeff will direct the Sales Division, both locally and nationally. He brings over 20 years experience in the industry, including the past 12 as one of the top sales producers in the company. In making the announcement, President Herb Zebrack says, “Jeff brings knowledge, compassion, ability and a great understanding of how our business and the industry works. We are confident he will become a great leader in our organization.”

Layne Morey will serve as Sales Manager, Los Angeles for both the In-Home and Out-of-Home divisions. Layne’s enthusiasm and knowledge is a great asset for Lithographix. He also has over twenty years experience and has been with the company for over 4 years. Adds Zebrack, “Layne has shown great skill and work ethic in his current capacity and he is well deserving of this promotion.”

Lithographix, Inc. continues to expand its Out-of-Home Division with the addition of two more 5330 Vutek 16'wide 8-color printers. Adding this to their existing equipment roster, Lithographix has more capacity than any other large format printing company on the West Coast.

In addition to the Vuteks, Lithographix just completed the installation of a new state of the art 81" 6/c + UV sheet fed press. Capable of printing as large as 59 x 80", up to 48pt. board stock, and on many different types of substrates, this new press, aptly called Gigantix, offers many more capabilities, expanding an already vast list of creative products.
