Red Hawk Lounge for Sacramento Kings

The new Red Hawk Lounge inside Sacramento’s Golden 1 Center gave us the chance to help shape the space from the ground up. The goal was simple: bold graphics, clean finishes, and dimensional elements that felt built into the environment rather than added on.

Here’s how it all came together.

Large-scale wall wraps were produced on 3M IJ180Cv3 adhesive vinyl and finished with a 3M 8915 Ultra-Matte overlaminate to create a smooth, glare-free look across the curved surfaces. For the dimensional elements, mirrored chrome lettering was fabricated using Avery Dennison SF100 wrap film mounted to 1-inch resilient foam board and digitally cut on our Zünd for crisp, precise edges. The reflective finish added depth and movement, giving the walls a polished, architectural feel.

The Red Hawk logo took things a step further. A half-inch channel was routed into the back to house integrated LED lighting, creating a subtle halo effect before the piece was pin mounted to the curved walls. Additional lettering was flush mounted using a cutout template and 3M VHB tape, with a third set installed along the corridor to carry the look throughout the space. In the end, everything worked together to create a clean, cohesive space that feels right at home inside the arena.
