Expanded Capacity with swissQprint Kudu
Lithographix has expanded its production floor with the addition of three Kudu printers from swissQprint, increasing both capacity and flexibility across our large-format department.
Each system supports true flatbed and roll-to-roll printing, allowing us to move seamlessly between rigid boards and flexible media in a single workflow. With roll printing up to 3.2 m (126") wide, dual-roll capability for higher productivity, and oversize board handling up to 4 m (157.5") long, the Kudu platform gives us the versatility to efficiently produce everything from retail graphics and displays to large-scale signage and packaging components.
The presses are configured with 10 color channels, including Neon Yellow and Neon Pink to expand the color gamut for more vibrant brand colors, along with a clear channel that enables swissQprint’s Droptix technology for dimensional textures and gloss effects. Anti-static controls support precise droplet placement for sharp image quality, while registration pins and edge holders ensure accurate positioning of pre-cut, oversized, and corrugated materials.
Designed for continuous, high-output production, the systems feature Tandem operation for non-stop printing, LED curing for broad media compatibility and reduced energy use, Tip Switch Vacuum for efficient material hold-down, and integrated safety features for both operators and processes. With certified energy efficiency averaging just 2.2 kWh, the platform also supports a more sustainable production environment.
Adding three Kudu printers increases redundancy, shortens lead times, and allows multiple campaigns to run simultaneously which helps us deliver consistent color, speed, and reliability at scale.
